Oh I didn't realise that they were also born about the 9/11 time, what a weird coincidence!! Poor ((((((((((Emma)))))))))) has certainly missed out on a lot, but I'll bet you are sort of secretly relieved that she won't be going to Europe, even though I have no doubt you would have wanted the experience for her :) I am sure she has managed her disappointment with aplomb

Emma isn't one to complain or really show her feelings.  I don't think I have ever seen her angry in all these years.  Sometimes I wonder how much she might have bottled up inside.  I sure wouldn't want her to go to Europe at this time but I don't think I would have worried if not for the pandemic.  I know Stephanie and Bill stay in the best places so I wouldn't worry about her safety.

Maybe the Europe trip will happen in time.  That is as long as Stephanie and Bill have not lost $ millions during this virus and all its complications  !

Maybe Stephanie and Bill will take their niece to Europe later this year or next and then I am sure they would invite Emma.  We shall see.

That's true and those girls couldn't go this Fall anyway, they will be in school so if they go it would be a year from now.  Nothing has been said about it at all, I was thinking it could happen.
I'm leaving now dear Darien, time to make something for supper.  Have a wonderful day!!

I hope Emma gets the chance next year, she will love it.

Enjoy your supper, what are you having? I am taking Hugo back to the vet this morning as his ear is a dreadful mess and I don't see the specialist until 17th June and the poor boy can't remain as he is til then :(

I had some chicken frozen, I usually make more of almost everything and then I have enough for two meals.  It's called Pineapple Chicken which of course it includes pineapple. We love it but you and Moira probably wouldn't.  I also had some leftover scalloped potatoes  and I microwaved some frozen peas and that was it.  Larry cleaned up the mess.    After I was done with the infusion today I noticed I had a metallic taste in my mouth.  The doctor said many people get that and it causes things to not taste right and people lose their appetite.  I hope it goes away and maybe tomorrow I won't have it.

Your supper sounds interesting, I don't believe I have ever had chicken and pineapple together.

I hope the metallic taste goes away for you too

Good to hear your taste buds are better and no metallic taste.  Lucky you ! Tonight Bonnie brought all 3 kids round plus a pizza for their tea as she and Dan had to go pick up the Monster truck from the garage. They were only away 15 minutes but she had just made pizza when Dan got home from work so they HAD to go THEN before the garage shut.  Anyway the pizza was chicken and it had cashew nuts on top too !! I fed the kids, I only had a wee taste as we were having fish and chips later as it is Friday ..... but John had a piece and said it was delish. No pineapple.

I can't imagine cashews on pizza but then cashews on anything is delish.  I've never heard of putting any kind of nut on a pizza.  Do the kids like nuts, they must I guess.  Lots of kids don't it seems.  It's not Lent but you still have Fish and Chips on Friday?
