Three Friends

Kylie has four cats and one of them, Tilly, is old and often poos and wees everywhere now. Kylie has litter trays all over the house, well almost, and I can often smell them even though she uses stuff that is supposed to stop the odour. I used to hate walking into the cattery at the pound when it was my volunteer day, but I scrubbed the place so no smell was around when I finished!!!

Oh gross I cannot understand why anyone would have cats IN their house ! BUT 4 cats     Kylie must like cleaning up and living with the smell !    Gross. Nor dogs inside either ! I would not allow it BUT then the occasional dog does come inside here but no cats ! Do you still have your cat Darien? 

I have not asked if Ellie's cats are inside cats !!!! Help ! Bonnie's cat is an Outside cat but he does go inside through the cat flap looking for food now and again ! 

I do remember when you worked in the Cattery Darien as a volunteer. Good on ya.  Why did you stop ? I cannot remember ! Not my idea of fun I must say !

I didn't know Darien had a cat, I don't THINK she does but Kylie has 4.  What about Belinda, does she have pets?
I wouldn't want all the cat hair around, the litter box is no problem, I smell nothing from that.  Larry believes pets belong outside too.  He grew up on a farm so that's where his pets lived, OUTSIDE.  I had a cat always at home and it went in and out.

I don't know, but I imagine pets are happier living outside, it would be natural for them but then I don't know.  Pets probably get used to having a house and no doubt like being in it.  I know when Cupcake is taken outside she seems very nervous and usually darts right back to the door.   
I guess you could work at a cattery or any animal place and not own any animal.

It seems like those doggie doors are a good thing.  I've only ever seen them on TV or in a movie, I don't know anyone who has one.

Susie and I were just talking about our cats of long ago.  We remember that when they wanted to go outside they went to the door and meowed and we let them out and when they wanted IN they came to the door and meowed.  I don't remember putting them out at night but maybe we did because if they would have had to "go" there was no litter box in those days.  I remember sometimes they would be gone for a few days and we would worry that they weren't coming back, but they did.
Pam took Cupcake in for fluids again this morning and we had lunch after that.  She was crying when telling me about what the vet said this morning.  Things aren't looking good for Cupcake and I think the only way she can live is if she keeps getting fluids.  Pam is going in Monday to find out how to do it herself so she will be doing it at home in the future.  I'm sure when the time comes and Pam sees that Cupcake is suffering, she will know it's time to let her go.  So far Cupcake doesn't appear to have any pain.  I feel so badly for Pam and Emma, they love Cupcake so much. 

You had a cat that slept with you.........Snuffles, what a cute name. 
Yes, it will be a sad day when Cupcake is no longer here and thanks for the sympathy Darien.
