That's okay Darien, I'll forgive you for looking at your phone.  I probably would too if I had one.    I did chat with the lady playing the piano.  I told her that if I had practiced like my Mother wanted me to back long ago that I might be sitting there playing instead of her.  I told her I just wanted to go and play and she said she wanted to be inside playing the piano.  She was about my age, maybe a little younger.

I think piano playing is a gift and you have to want to do it !

Same with Kylie, bought her a piano and lessons, she got bored with it all and that was that!!!

I did 30 minute lessons twice a week in term time plus 15 minutes practice every evening...…..for 5 years and I still cannot play very well !  I can read music … slowly but not fast enough to just read and play the tune. Some people like Nana Jill can play  by ear. THAT is a gift.  Anyway I an tone deaf !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

So Kylie was like me.  Did you ever try to get Belinda to play the piano?
You had a lot of lessons Moira but so did I and I can't play a note and I'm sure I don't even remember how to read music anymore.  My Mom played by ear too, I think we talked about this not TOO long ago.

Yes we have talked about piano before. Madeleine had piano lessons when she was young and we also had a piano but after a while it got boring !  She then did flute lessons and taught herself the drums.

Darien.  I saw the photo you put up of Belinda and Kylie when they were younger and I know we have seen it before but it never struck me how alike they are in the photo.  Apart from their hair colouring they could be twins !!!!    Would you say they still look alike ?

I saw that picture on FB too but I don't see that they look so much alike..........I'll have to go back and look again.

I wouldn't say they look that much alike, but the do look like sisters, if you know what I mean.

OH no not to me. Their smiles and expressions are the same and their face shapes and hair the same.. apart from the colour. They don't look alike nowadays !

I just went over to FB to have another look.  Now today I'm seeing that the girl's smiles are very alike and their eyes too.  Yep, they look more alike than I thought.
