I'm Back From Mayo

I saw the doctor this morning and I got what I am thinking is good news.  He says the spots on my lungs are very small and he thinks it is safe to "wait and see" and not do any kind of treatment now.  I will be scanned every 3 months to see if they are growing so they will be keeping close watch over me.

Thanks Moira, it seemed good to me anyway.  I had the appointment with an oncologist, one I'd never met before.  He was SO NICE and SO TALL and when he came in he asked me who I had with me so I told him, Larry and Pam.  He then shook hands and said "I'm Matt", not DR. anything, we were all impressed.

He does seem to have a good reputation and  I like his name :)  He seems to have a special interest in gynae. and other cancer problems and the follow up problems. Sounds good (((((((((((((Linda))))))))))))))))))
