I have a load of Bookmarked pages too Linda, Thanks to Jack !!!! I showed him once how to save a Titanic web page and now he saves everything he finds interesting ! Good job he cannot read yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What jumps out at me here is that Jack doesn't read yet?  Breck can read any thing and everything so they must teach reading here way sooner than they do there.  All of Annie's kids are exceptionally good readers but any kid here who has been through kindergarten can read.

Oh Jack can read but I meant he can not or would not read stuff we write on here.     He is quite advanced with his reading according to his teacher and he is ahead of most of the kids in his class. He is good with his spelling too but he spells like he speaks ... in his Kiwi accent !!!! EG. He loves the ferry to Rakino Island. It is called ' The Belaire' .  A Kiwi would say it like  ' Bel ear '  !!! So that is how he spells it when he does his drawings. :)

Jack has picked up the Kiwi accent then, that was inevitable I suppose. Cash and Greta will automatically talk like a Kiwi.

I know Jack is very smart and advanced so when you said he didn't read, it really made me wonder.
I see what you are saying now.    So he spells how he pronounces, that makes sense though it might not always be right.

Kiwis do have a strange accent.... not posh like my spoken English   :)  He comes up here after school and wants to Google stuff and I make him try and spell the words first.  He has been looking to see where his friend lives on Google Earth today !!! His friend is a SHE called Maddie !
