He was hungry again today after the infusion so we came home and he ate the same thing he had yesterday, it's what sounds good to him I guess.

For days I didn't make an evening meal because he wasn't eating but the last couple of days I have and he's been eating.
He went to see his GP today and he checked him over and said everything looks good as far as his vitals are concerned.

I'm the same, if Robert doesn't feel like an evening meal I won't bother with one either. In the summer I often don't feel like eating an evening meal, so I will make Robert a salad or something else and have nothing myself, or he will make his own.

How much longer does Larry need to have his IV AB's done? You must be relieved that ((((((((((Larry)))))))))) is showing improvement

If I don't make a meal then I eat cheese and crackers, my favorite snack and I love it.  Larry has 4 more treatments, at least that is the plan at this point.  I am relieved that he is improving.  He's been awake a lot more today so I think that's a good sign too.

Well done Larry, you must be feeding him well Linda :) Only 4 more treatments.... (((((((((((((((((Larry)))))))))))))))))

Same, same Linda and if I don't cook a dinner then I too might eat cheese and crackers and a salad ... although not much cheese as it can give you nightmares if you eat it late in the evening !!!!!! Old Wives tale ???? Well it is what my Mum used to say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nightmares from cheese?  Well, I rarely have a nightmare and I often have my cheese and cracker snack before I go to bed.  That's something I've never heard about.

It's such good news that that the AB treatments are working and you must be relieved (((((Linda)))))

I don't believe I have ever heard that before, cheese giving nightmares!!!Here you go :)

In a nutshell, cheese is just very difficult to digest. So, while your body is trying to digest it, it's basically keeping you slightly awake. You stay in the REM (rapid eye movement) state of sleep for longer, which is where you have lots more vivid dreams.”

Well, now it's official!!  I don't know, but I've eaten a lot of cheese before I go to bed and I can't even remember when I've had a nightmare.  I must be the exception to the "cheese rule"!

I DO remember telling you this before because you said you do eat cheese at night Linda !!!!!!!!!!! So maybe my Mum was right !!! REM can stop proper sleep ! Maybe the crackers help the cheese digest better !   Methinks maybe Linda is so laid back that she goes to bed, takes out her hearing aides and takes out her contacts and so she can  " hear no evil, see no evil and speaks no evil " so she sleeps soundly !!!!!!!!!!!!!  Lucky Linda

I cannot remember when I actualeh had a nightmare.....but I do get some vivid dreams now and again and often in the early hours of the morning !

You describe my sleeping habits pretty well Moira, have you been looking in the window?    I do sleep well and I think it has a lot to do with that tiny little bit of Amytrip I take every evening, only 10mgs.  My mother didn't sleep well at all at my age and years before my age but I do for some unknown reason.

I usually sleep well at night, no doubt because I take 25mgs Amytrip.
