Grant has been so much better and this has been true for several years but who knows what the tragic loss of his mother will mean for him. Connie said she is so glad he has a nice girlfriend, she thinks that will help him.

Spencer was the boy I was thinking of and such a shame that his sister Maddie is also a worry for Chris and Laura. As for being afraid of your son....((((((((((((((Laura)))))))))))))))))) I suppose Chris is still coping with his disease ? and I think when we last mentioned this family they were also trying to get a place for Spencer. ... OR did they find one then he came back home ???????
A sad story about Marianne and her son. We should be grateful that our kids are all mentally stable..... and can function normally !!!

Pam was just saying yesterday that Maddie is as a constant concern. She pretty much just ignores her family, she's away at school. Pam said Chris and Laura went to visit her, a drive of more than 2 hours and she was too busy to spend time with them. I'm sure Laura has told Chris she is afraid of Spencer. I just don't know how this will all play out but I'll let you know.
Back to Marianne and her son Grant who threatened to blow up his school. Marianne and her husband did know Grant was very troubled and he'd had all kinds of counseling, medication, etc.. but still he figured out how to get those weapons under his bed. This has been a long time ago, probably 15 years so I don't remember the details.

I too vaguely remember you telling us about a boy you knew who had threatened to blow up his school or something. It amazes me how the parents are left in the dark and never knew their child was like that!!!!!
I really feel for Laura and I am assuming she has told Chris she is afraid of Spencer? How is his sister, Madden wasn't it?

I do have a very vague memory of some young boy and weapons to blow up the school such a sad story and sad again tp lose his Mum ... did they keep in touch after the divorce ? I suppose you would not know this but how sad for Kara too

Marianne was married and they had a son Grant. You might remember me telling you about this troubled boy who threatened to blow up his school and they found weapons under the floor boards under his bed. He was put in a "facility" and was there for several years. He's been doing better and now lives on his own and has a girlfriend. After that first husband, Marianne was divorced and then married another man and they had a daughter, Kara. Kara is a month older than Emma and is in college and is perfectly normal. Marianne divorced Kara's father at some point and married another guy and they had no children. After awhile there was another divorce and now she has been living with Jim and he is the one who was with her in Florida at the time of the accident. They never married. I guess she thought she'd had enough divorces.

I cannot imagine anyone wanting to do stunt flying BUT Of course people do !!!! I would NOT allow any of my kids to do it !!!!!!!!!!!! Well I would try to stop them and I doubt I would sleep at night ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It did not says she was married or had kids... so perhaps that was also a small blessing

The accident happened in Florida though Marianne lives in Oregon. Marianne's boyfriend owns a stunt airplane business in St. Augustine and Marianne was flying one of the planes but not doing stunts. She would have survived the crash Connie said but the plane skidded into a brick wall and then the damage was done.
