I have my FIXED glued pair on tonight as I left my other ones in Bonnie's kitchen and I can not be bothered to go get them ! They are holding so far !

OIC.....very different breaks then. I have been going to Specsavers for years now and this is the first time, that I can recall, my glasses have been broken.

They had to replace the actual frame in my broken glasses because the side are actually broke off the screw bit !!!!!! Same thing that happened the second time ! Nothing to do with the screw ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have super glued it back but will definitely go see a ' decent ' optician once I am settled !

Apparently the screw had come out and they just replaced the screw while I waited. Took all of a few minutes and I made an appointment to have my eyes checked again as well.

Bwahahaha I do not believe this .... another coincidence !!!!!!!!!! So how DID they fix them ????

Glad they got fixed and you are back to normal. So far my reading glasses are ok!

I had them fixed yesterday and all good again now

I'd better be careful with my reading glasses, they may be falling apart soon!

You know how you were saying Moira about your glasses breaking? Well I went to put my reading glasses on last night to use my laptop, I have had them for about 3 years, one of the 'arms' fell off as I picked it up!!!!! I couldn't help but laugh as I had been piously telling you you must be rough with your glasses!!!! So at the moment I am using them with only one arm and straightening them every now and again. I'll be off to Specsavers to day or tomorrow to have them fixed
