I remember you telling us about your Dad yelling up the stairs at  you and Ange.  My Dad never yelled at Susie and I, Mother did ALL the disciplining.  DADDY thought Susie and I were saints. 

Oh  yes, I could ask Joe which hospital Susie was in, but it doesn't matter now.  I talked to Susie this morning.  I knew Joe was going to be there so I called his phone in case Susie was sleeping or not up to talking.  She was eating breakfast and seemed pretty good.  I asked her if she was already starting to feel bad when Matt was there and she said "I didn't know Matt was here"!!!  HELP    He just left 2 days ago.
I hope her memory will come back better than it is at this point.  At least she seemed to know ME!! 
I think I told you Susie has sepsis and she doesn't have pneumonia.  I think it was the nursing home doctor that said she had pneumonia, but I'm not sure.  Larry had sepsis a year or so ago and was in the hospital.  Apparently it can develop from UTI and bladder problems and Larry has both often.

Well, all I  know is that I've always done things fast and it's really hard for me to slow down.  I'm just up now in the evening after spending most of the day on the sofa.  My bad chemo day forces me to slow down to a complete standstill, so I know I can do it.
I'll finish catching up here with you girls and then I'll go to bed.

I know that everyone who knew Maggie loved her and Hugo too, they must have been such a wonderful pair.  I know you have wonderful memories of them both but somehow, the memories aren't enough. 
I certainly understand how being here is a distraction for you, it's the same for me and has been so many times over these more than 20 years.  I come in here and almost forget what's going on in my life!!

A dog that makes you laugh would be a double loss, so sad dear Darien, SO SAD.  I don't even know what to say and all I can say is that I'm SORRY and that you and Robert know best as far as getting another pet goes.  You will see how it goes and follow where your hearts lead you.

I'm sure Matt was tired after the long drive and the celebrating the night before.  I know he wants to live off the land, but how do you do that in the woods?   I for SURE wish Matt the very best when it comes to living out his dream and I hope it all works well for him.
