How long does it last Darien?  Mom got those injections and they worked for quite a long time but eventually they didn't do anything.

Well, I thought about that but I don't really know which Des Moines hospital she is in and I believe Brant will give us a report sometime today, he said he would but he hasn't been there yet.  Joe said Brant is going tonight.  I'll let you know later when I hear something.

I was thinking it was bursitis causing your pain and I find that a cortisone injection always works for mine.

It does make it hard for you when you are unable to be there. Why don't you try and ring the hospital yourself and tell them you are her sister, they may give you come explanation. ((((((((((((((((((((Susie))))))))))))))))))))

I wouldn't even call it  breathless, just a brief feeling after I come up from downstairs and other than that I don't feel it at all.  If it were to get bad I'd call and see someone but at this point I think I'm fine to wait and mention it next time I go if it's still happening.  If I walk up the steps slower it doesn't even bother me.  I do everything fast, it's the way I've always been so I just maybe need to slow down a bit.

Well, everyone is different.  Pam and Emma ran right out the next week and came home with TWO CATS and one day those two cats will be gone and they will be heartbroken and maybe after it happens enough time they will give up on pets too.  Your pain is so raw now, you need to do whatever feels right and you can always change your mind about getting another dog.

I would have been very surprised if PN had been any quicker. I just did a quick search and the flight is longer because they all seem to fly to Auckland first and then fly out from there. That would be no good for you Moira. Just leave from Auckland, much quicker.
