Annie
« on: March 17, 2022, 10:08:09 pm »
She has been working for Bank West in Perth for the last 14 years ..... doing well and making them money BUT because she will not have the jab, she had an email from work  today telling her she has 3 weeks to get the jab or else she will  lose her job!!!!!      She is mad and annoyed but she is also angry that after working so long they can tell her jab or no job  !    She is also worried about paying Matt's mortgage of course and living costs ! She is stressing out !

What a load of bollocks ......What happened to Freedom of Choice in this day and age  ?   Communism ?
I am off to bed !

Annie has known about this for a long time now and even though I don't agree with being forced to have it done, they are thinking of her and those she works for. It is what it is.

Oh OUCH, that was a rude awakening for Annie and will Richie be in the same boat?  They have known it was coming so have they a plan for what to do now?  Maybe they will join you in NZ and that would be great but I guess they can't fly there without a jab so WHAT  will they do?

Here in NZ I am sure these mandates saying you HAVE to have the jab .. will be stopped any day now.   In Annie's case, Bank West  ...  they are not actualleh LEGAL but they are a Business ruling.  NOT a law.
Tonight Annie says she is ' Over it all ' and she will just wait it out and see what happens. Yes, same for Richie !

Any day now NZ will scrap the mandates for Kiwis and Aussies coming here .. from Australia ... and non vax people will just need to test negative in order to fly back to NZ.  So maybe Annie and Richie will come back but they are busy doing up Matt's house and hope to sell it first !

I'm glad Annie isn't worried about the "job thing".  Lots of young people wouldn't have enough money to live without an income.  So many people live paycheck to paycheck.  Maybe the laws will change and things will get back to normal, MAYBE!!!
We hardly wear a mask anywhere these days.  This morning we went to Larry's cardiology appointment.  He let me out at the door because it was raining.  I hurried in, went over and sat down in the waiting room and looked around and every single person had on a mask.  I quickly reached into my purse and pulled out a mask.  Larry came in wearing a mask, he keeps some in the car, so he remembered and I DID NOT.
The doctor seemed to think Larry is doing fine so he had a good report there.  The doctor says in six months he will set up some tests for Larry, carotid arteries for one and I forget what else.  He sees the doctor twice a year.

Yes it is each Business' decision whether one has to be faxed or not and they do have that right.

So you won't need to be vaxed to go to NZ from Australia? I wonder if we are doing the same thing?

We don't need a mask for a lot of places anymore here either, but I always have one on me just in case. We needed one at the Lawyers the other day, which surprised me. I am happy to hear that Larry's Cardiologist is pleased with him, long may it last ((((((((((Larry))))))))))

Thanks Darien, we were happy with the cardiology report too.  We keep masks in the car and in my purse, you just never know when you might need one.

I keep masks in the car too but we HAVE to wear one if we go into any shops or inside anywhere  .. except I don't wear one when just walking down the street and it comes off as soon as I am out of the shop ! I cannot breathe in them !

Good news for Larry regarding his cardio report and long may it last ((((((((((((((((Larry)))))))))))))))))))) Does he feel better nowadays ? Did they do any tests today ?

Annie has given up worrying about her job situation and I say Good on her too.  She can sell her house and evict Nikau and sell Matt's house too if necessary ! Plus she does have access to John's secret stash in his Aus. bank !!!!!!!!!!! IN an emergency of course !

Go Jacinda and stop jab mandates I say !

No, Larry didn't have any tests.  He'd just had tests a couple of weeks ago when he went to the ER with left arm pain.  He will have tests in 6 months when he goes back for his regular check-up.  I was just looking at the doctor's notes from yesterday and they don't look very good to me.  Of course I don't exactly understand it all.  I'll copy  it here.

Most of his arteries have mild stenosis (blockage) which how you want it. I just looked it up.

The thing that worries me is the 70% blockage of the main left artery.  I know that isn't good and the doctor in Iowa City said the surgery would be risky so he doesn't want to do it until Larry has symptoms.
I like your diagnosis Darien, I'll go with that.

Yes, the 70% is there, but Larry is not a young man and he does have Ischemic Heart Disease, so bearing that in mind, he is looking pretty damn good at the moment

Very true, Larry is 83 1/2 years old so his arteries aren't going to be perfect and I'm sure mine aren't either for that matter.
