I have never heard Pisces called that!!!! We are the last of the Zodiac signs because we have lived through all the other signs and have a few traits of each sign, but we are the most empathetic and wise of all the signs, we have learnt life lessons and have lived hard, which is why many of us end up addicted to something and suffer depression as we carry too much of others weight with us. Yes I suppose, in a way, that does make us a dust bin!!!

Hahaha Linda, Me too but nothing wrong with the stars and the Zodiac :)

YES Darien The dustbin of the Zodiac being the last of the 12 signs.  I have never known Pisces people to be described like you have done BUT it does make sense to me seeing as I am married to one and one of my best friends is also a Pisces :) I agree :)

I once had a very good book about the star signs and their meanings, I wish I could remember the name of the author, she had all the star signs, in detail, perfectly correct. The name will now drive me mad!!!!

I just did a quick search and found it, Linda Goodman was her name

From the time I was a little girl my Mother always said that astrology was a wrong way to go and pointed out that the Bible speaks against it.  You girls are Catholic so I was curious to see what the Catholic church has to say and I found this.

What does the Catholic Church say about horoscopes?
The Catholic Church teaches against the use of horoscopes and other such fortune-telling practices such as astrology, palm reading, clairvoyance, ouija boards, and mediums because they attempt to take the place of God.

I know this is what my Mother believed so I have felt this way about it all my life.  I know lots of people disagree.

Linda, I never knew that it was actually against Catholic teaching.  Well IF I think about it I do recall the nuns at school were against daily horoscopes etc and some of the older girls would talk about them !!!!
Mum was a fan and always read her horoscope in the paper !

Thinking last night I remember  I had a couple of books by Linda Goodman... Linda Goodman Sun Signs rings a bell and I think that they were were my first Astrology / Sun Sign books !~! Easy reading too :)

I have always known Catholic doctrines have told us that anything supernatural is wrong, I never took a scrap of notice as from an early age I had known I was 'cursed' with second sight. I remember I used to tell mum about a dream I had had and it would normally come true soon afterwards. Over the years I have buried these 'feelings' as it became too much for me as it took me way too long to learn how to switch off. Now I am happier not knowing!!!

Like I say, I've always felt it was not a good thing because of my Mother's early influence which stays with me to this day.  Maybe Darien you maybe feel subconsciously that it isn't right so you try to block the messages that come through?
I imagine the nuns did frown on the daily horoscopes.

Thinking back the ' Day Girls'  used to bring the local paper to school so the older boarders can read the news and the horoscopes !!!!! WE boarders normally never ever saw a newspaper during term time !!!

I don't think of Astrology as supernatural anyway  ! The daily newspaper horoscopes are so very vague they can hardly fit everybody who reads them !!! You take what you read with a pinch of salt. Well I do anyway BUT now and again one might just ring true !

I do remember you telling us about your second sight... many, many years ago now Darien !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you can remain switched off if it suits you better ((((((((((((((((Darien))))))))))))))))))))))))

My switching off had nothing to do with my Catholic upbringing, but about how very hard it can be to feel the pain, sadness, anger or anything else of strangers.

I'm glad you are not badly affected by the curse Darien, I can't even imagine what it would be like.

I don't think I would like second sight either.  Reading about the sun signs and the stars in the sky are more my style.
