Saving on rent of course and once this fire gets going I am quite happy spending my time in here but I suppose it is the cooking thing really. But we shall see I have not done any colouring in since I got here because it is too cold here and not peaceful enough on the table in Bonnie's dining room .

There is a sink here beside this desk.. stainless steel but only small and only one tap with cold water !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually I never even thought of a sink and water !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I suppose I could always use the sink in the bathroom here, lots of hot water and it is quite a big sink !

When does Dan get back? I would stand my ground and tell him you are comfortable where you are and you don't want to rent. It really is up to you and what your needs are, Dan is set up and happy.

So your bathroom is the same as my bathroom.  I was thinking they were different.
You really need a warmer place and I'm glad you told Bonnie where you don't want to rent.

SIGH yes the chimney sweep guy came about 11am .. he was not young .... but he was quite agile and able to get onto the HIGH roof !!!!!!!    Sadly our little wood burner in here needs a new ...?  part of the chimney pipe ... you know the black pipe from the stove up through the roof .... IT does have a name !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So it is dangerous to use  ATM ! The chimney pipe is made up of 3 parts and the top part is old and split so if we do light a fire there is the possibility of a spark... coming out and setting the studio ceiling wood on fire.... remember this studio IS wooden and the roof has wooden beams !  Anyway he cleaned the chimney here and down came heaps of dried straw like grass ... from birds nests !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It had not been cleaned for years apparently !
He also did the other 3 chimneys and all good so today John lit the lounge fire and ohhhhhhhhhh it seemed to heat the whole of Bonnie's living area The chimney sweep man ( Louis) is going to find the bits needed for the studio fire and will come back and fix it but he needs another person to help as it takes 2 men to do the job ! I volunteered Matt or John as long as he come back soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This whole chimney cleaning business took about 4 hours BUT the roof is HIGH and the climb is dangerous as I look at it !!!!!   Louis left his Bill. NZ $675.00 !  I have no idea if that is good or bad !

It doesn't rain but it pours!!!! At least you know now and it can be mended. It's called a flue and that should be cleaned quite often, we had ours done a few times when we had our combustion fire. Hopefully it won't be long before it's all sorted and thank goodness it isn't winter yet!!! I can't remember how much it cost us, but $675 seems a reasonable price for four chimneys.

Those inspectors have a hard job.  I hope your chimney sweep guy will come soon and fix it for you.
