COPD is an umbrella name for having more than one problem with your lungs and I have three. Asthma, Emphysema and Bronchiectasis. The last two diagnosed last year.

I did not know that Darien, I never thought about what exactly COPD is.  I am so sorry you have all of those awful things.

I would imagine then Darien that if you got covid ( Lord forbid ) that it would affect you badly ?
What Are the Symptoms of Bronchiectasis ?
Coughing up yellow or green mucus daily.
Shortness of breath that gets worse during flare-ups.
Fatigue, feeling run-down or tired.
Fevers and/or chills.
Wheezing or whistling sound while you breathe.
Coughing up blood or mucus mixed with blood, a condition called hemoptysis.
Bugger do you have all these symptoms Darien ?????????????????????? (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Never mind the Asthma and Emphysema !

Well it sounds worse that it reads and I only have small pockets of Bronchiectasis, but yes I do cough a lot and get short of breath and I get tires easily, that could also be my Fibromyalgia or Lupus. I am hoping that it won't develop any further as to be honest I am terrified of ending up like David, but it is what it is and I will cope with it.
