NO sign of Jack today as Dan has his old school mate ( and Greenfern partner )  Dan Leydon, wife and 2 kids ( Boy 10, girl 8 ) here visiting and staying over night so they were all too busy to come up here to use the computer ! Peace.

Matt has managed to buy 5 RAT tests today and he was once again negative so he has gone to Hawkes Bay with the puppy for his mate. ( Matt McCombie.  His wife Teneile is 8 weeks pregnant and he does not want our Matt visiting unless he is covid neg. Neither our Matt nor Matt MC are vaxed !   )

Bonnie is fed up with ' Wilma' ( Her original pup choice if you remember  )  and her antics so she has been given to Matt Mc.   Just heard that our Matt got to Hawkes BAY OK :)
I might sleep tonight now in the peace and tranquility !

So Matt Mc got a free puppy, is that what you mean?  So won't Bonnie keep any of the pups?  Jack and the kids would enjoy having the over night company since they have kids to play with.  I'm glad Matt made it safely to his destination.  Is he sort of at loose ends since he isn't working?

Our Matt had promised his mate Matt Mc that he could have a puppy to teach to go hunting for free .  Remember Our Matt is the owner of the Male George, the father so he is entitled to a share of the pups ! Bonnie has kept a different puppy to her first original choice !   R.D Rainbow Dust ! AKA Ardie !!!!!

It's nice for the kids to have someone to play with and I am sure not a lot of sleep went on between the kids, they'd have been talking and playing

That was a fair enough ask of Matt Mc to ensure his wife remain safe, but if he himself isn't vaccinated, how can he keep from giving her COVID, unless he is at home all the time. I am relieved to hear that Matt arrived safely and the pup.

Are the pups registered? I didn't know Maggie was registered! Which one is Ardie? Is the wee one we like still there?

Which one is RD Ardie ?? I cannot tell you they all look much the same to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    She has a bright pink neck thing ! The other one left is the one wearing the golden neck thing, the kids called him Goldie. He is being picked up on Tuesday. He was my favourite too and such a naughty boy, he still is and right now almost 9pm Goldie and RD are sitting at my feet ..........  Dan etc all went to Penny's today and are not back yet and the pups were crying out for food so Matt brought them up here and we fed them and they are now flat out at my feet ! Inside too.....  Hopefully not for all night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP !!!! They are not registered I don't think ....as the buyers will do that but they are all jabbed ! !

Yes Matt got back this arvo after a lovely weekend and I think it did him good to get away and him and Matt Mc went fishing with the drone and they caught lots of fish including a little shark.. which they put back !!!!!!! Matt Mc's kids .... April 4 and Jason 18 months .... loved the pup but no name as yet !
Neither of the Matts believe in the jab .... but Tenielle had it ... same as Bonnie did too !

I'm glad Matt had a nice time away and I'm sure it did him good.   The pups all look the same to me, all cute and getting bigger.
If Matt Mc hasn't taken the vaccine how can he live with his wife?  He surely doesn't test himself daily.  Didn't you say she was pregnant and didn't want Matt to come without a test?

RD Ardie is just what you all call him then? So you decided against all my pushing and prodding not to keep wee Goldie? I am bitterly disappointed in you as I thought I had finally got you on my side when it comes to animals You will miss him, admit it

I'm glad Matt had a good time and that his fishing drone worked for him.

Matt also fancies Goldie and if the buyer does not come for him, then we will keep him :)
RD ( Helensville is Rural District 2 = RD 2 )   Rainbow Dust = RD TOO also  so Bonnie calls HER Ardie ! She is for keeps.
Matt got sunburned when fishing on his legs and arms... oh the complaining especially when on of the pups scratched his legs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I got the story wrong as Teneille has NOT had any jabs as she too does not agree with them BUT seeing as our Matt was visiting from the outside world ..... they had to make sure he was clear as she is pregnant :)  Makes sense to me !

So you may end up with a puppy after all, I wait and see how it goes then

Now that's a name you don't hear very often and such a pretty name too. I always think of The Captain and Tenneille Do you remember them?

You never heard of them?  I would think they might even have been popular when you were traveling here back in the 70's.  "I Write the Songs" is a Barry Manilow song, I think.

Barry Manilow made the song famous, but he didn't write it. I looked it up and found this;

Today's Morning Edition music is from "I Write the Songs" by Barry Manilow, which was No. 1 on the Billboard pop chart 40 years ago Thursday. The song was actually written by Bruce Johnston, best known as a member of the Beach Boys. Johnston said it's about the general notion of where music comes from.21 Jan 2016
