Just read this ....

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in New Zealand since the pandemic began to 38,951.
There are currently 21,648 active cases in the community.

On Tuesday, there were 2846 cases in New Zealand.
So soon we will be going back to normal living ..... just be careful !

For some reason this is confusing.  What community are they talking about or should it be "country"?  If the cases are down to that low a number in all of New Zealand then there IS hope you can go back to normal!!

Our numbers skyrocketed too with this Omicron virus, but it seems to have slowed down now. I don't know how many cases and I don't want to know anymore.

When they say, "There are currently 21,648 active cases in the community." they mean the general community of NZ, those walking about etc.

Oh, they were referring to New Zealand as a community, that's why I was confused.

NZ is small Linda compared to you !  THEY DO NOT actualleh know how many people may have onicrom .................... WE do not have many RAT tests available to find out ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had the same problem here with the RATs, I think that has been sorted now though.

Yes, Pam, Emma and I tested ourselves back when Larry was in the hospital and we wanted to be sure we were okay before we went to visit him.
