Three Friends

Since school has been out Emma has been looking for a part time job but no luck so far.  I can't remember if I've told you any of this?  HELP!  Anyway, she was offered a job but they wanted her to work 36 hours a week and that was just ridiculous for a kid, not so much during the summer but when school is on it's way too much.  She applied at a grocery store and a coffee shop and neither of them called her back.  I mean she had interviews at both places, she has no doubt applied more places and didn't get an interview.  Today she had an interview at a sandwich shop, only healthy stuff.  It's a brand new place that is opening in a couple of weeks.  She said she felt the interview went well but you never know.
I think a big problem for Emma is that she looks so young.  When we go out to eat many times the hostess at the restaurant will ask if we need a "child's menu".  Emma is NOT thrilled about that but it is the way it is.   The guy told Emma today that he would let her know in a day or two.  Time will tell. 

Oh sad but I can understand how Emma does look young. I wish her the best of luck and if she needs a refernce I can give her one Hahahaha ((((((Emma)))))

I hope she gets the job.

I just found out, Emma called and she said the man who interviewed yesterday  called and offered her a job.
She was at her pottery class tonight and he left a message.  She called him back and got the news.  She was so excited and happy and we are happy for her of course.   They plan to open the restaurant next week and she doesn't know exactly when she starts but it will be soon. 

That menu looks interesting. Good for Emma. I am pleased she got the job. What does Emma do at pottery ? Doe she use the wheel or is it hand potting. I loved my pottery.
