Paddling pool

I got a paddling pool today $22 at KMart and it is bigger than I thought but the boys blew it up this afternoon after school with a foot pump. Took them ages :) We then put in a small amount of water and Jack stripped off his school uniform.... his tee shirt and shorts. He had NO undies on and went to school without wearing any … he does this often !!!! He was in the pool naked and he put in his old drum ( from Perth) and wanted a photo taken so I told him to cover up his tail. I took some photos then found an old pair of his shorts so he was more civilised. I will put up the photos for your perusal :)

OH MY GOODNESS, THIS IS FUNNY!!!!    No  underwear in school, well at least he wasn't a girl wearing a dress!!!!  He wanted the drum in the pool, MORE FUNNY STUFF.  I'll check out the picture!!

Today Greta wandered up to investigate the pool but she would not go in. She was quite happy sitting on the edge of the pool and bouncing up and down playing horseys !

Yes Greta can wander up alone BUT if their gate is closed... as it should be. she cannot get through and she stands there and wails !!!I have a suspicion Bonnie watches her...…...….. !!!!!
The paddling pool if filled would be about 18 inches deep but I only have about 8inches in there now. It is not THAT warm but its fine for a paddle or just playing in the water from the edge.

I would hope Bonnie watches to be sure she is going to your house and not "who knows where"!
Some weirdo could be driving by and grab her, not likely but anything CAN happen.

If she is wailing at the gate, one of us will hear her and go get her. I did it the other day and had to ring Bonnie to tell her where Greta was. Bonnie was looking for her after she had been to the loo ! Greta is FAST !     Yes Bonnie does try and keep the gate closed as she watched Greta wander up the other day and she called her back but the gate was open and Greta set off at a run for the road.... instead of coming up our drive.. Good job Bonnie is fit and can run fast ! The gate is normally kept closed now but it is such a chore if you need to drive down to their house !!!

Greta is too young to be out wandering around alone but it sounds like Bonnie does watch her pretty closely.

She can wail louder than Cash ( and he used to wail LOUD ) especially if she does not get her own way. Yes you have to watch her carefully !
