The only way to teach a dog to stay within the boundary is by fencing, be that electric or normal fencing. There maybe another way, but I don't know it.

They eat grass ..... and I think Bonnie has other stuff.. proper pig food PLUS she keeps lots of vegie/fruit cuttings and any other left over food and it all goes into a BIG bowl and the pigs get it in the evening ! We also toss stuff over the fence ! PLUS one or two of Bonnie's mates also drop off left over stuff !!!! THEY are well fed... the pigs I mean !!!!!!!!!!!

PS. Darien. There is lots of fencing here and Dan has fixed his gates so they close easily now .... BUT George still manages to escape. He jumps over everything ! He is being tied up regularly nowadays when the cars go out .. he follows our cars ! If he is up here and one of us goes out .... we have to put him inside the house so he cannot follow the car ..... but at Dan's he is tied up outside with a wire chain ... we tried tying him up on the deck here but with a rope ..... and HE chewed through it !!

Sounds like the pigs are getting plenty to eat and it looks like it too.
George is a busy boy and seems like he could get into some serious trouble out on the road. I bet he hates being tied up.

The pigs are certainly fed well!!! They do eat anything usually. Poor George, hopefully he will be contained better at the new place.

Bonnie was saying today that when she ties up George, the puppy Ardie sits beside him and plays with him
It keeps George quiet otherwise he wails and wails !
