Toe Nails
« on: June 28, 2022, 08:44:41 pm »
I have not had my toe nails cut properly or professionally for months and they were growing long and catching on my shoes and socks and sheets as they were rough  !!!!!!! So today I got some Epsom salts and after my shower I put my poor feet into a bowl of hot water with the salts.  Bliss Then I managed to cut my toe nails as they were softened    It has been YEARS since I have done that myself as I used to go to the Asian nail shops in Westgate when in Helensville.

You did it.  I just did mine in the bath tub the other night and thought of you.  I don't do a good job but it works.

Funnily enough I did mine the other night as well, so we should all be pleased with ourselves

Hahahaha Great minds think alike      I also trimmed my finger nails as they have been growing well lately,  probably because I have not been gardening or doing much at all !!!!!

I also trimmed my finger nails, but haven't filed them, been too lazy the last few days. I might get them done today when I drop the babies off to be groomed.

Do you not even cut your finger nails Linda ? Or file them into shape with an emery board ?  NOT a metal nail file as they are too harsh :)

Oh yes, why would you ask if I cut my fingernails?  They would be miles long if I didn't.  I file them but I just don't get manicures.  I seem to have weak nails, they break off so easily.

I use a metal nail file, have done for years and I never have a problem with them.

I must have feeble nails then Darien as a metal file is too harsh/rough for mine. I remember being told by a manicurist ages ago,  NOT To use a metal file anyway !

I did mean do you have your nails cut professionally as in a manicure Linda ! I cannot ignore mine if they need cutting or filing !

So you do your own nails then too Darien.  I've never had a facial, what all is done?

Oh I say how posh :) It has been years since I had a facial... in Perth ! I have had just my toe nails cut in Westgate... must be at least a year ago so I do have to cut them myself as they seem to grow so fast !
