It's been coming on for Susie for many years, I can't remember how long ago when she complained of her vision being blurry, that was the beginning.  I suppose she was 40'something then.  I don't know that Maree's medication would do all that much but if they want her to take it I suppose she should.  Sometimes medication can be very hard to take and if you know it's not going to cure you, then it would be easy to just skip it.

Susie has had almost 40 years to think about this ? ..... did she even know what was happening ? I am sure it did not even enter her mind when she was in her 40s, still teaching  etc  !!! (((((((((Susie))))))))))

Do you mean that they found Susie had MS while looking for the cause of her blurry vision? Did it take them terribly long to find she had MS, do you remember? I know it took ages to diagnose Maree. Most auto-immune diseases are incredibly difficult to get diagnosed

I don't remember details from way back when Susie had blurry vision or what her eye doctor said about it.  I know she didn't find out for a long time for SURE what she had.  She didn't want to be tested but she was pretty sure she knew.  At that time there was nothing to do to stop it so she just lived in denial I guess you could say.

I don't remember how or why Susie thought she had MS.  Not sure when it was so I don't know if she could look up information on the computer or not.  I'd say this was in the mid 90's and I know we didn't have a computer then.  Her doctor may even had suggested it.  If I remember I'll ask.  Don't think I told you we are going to Bondurant tomorrow, just for one night this time.  We'll be back later on Sunday.  We are going to see Emmitt's play tomorrow night.  Pam and Emma are going too.

I think you did have a computer in the mid 90s as that is when I got my first one ... not that I knew how to work it ..... until we moved to Dunedin 1995/96 when I took lessons and discovered Menoasylum shortly after  !

Enjoy your trip to see Emmit's play. What is it this year ?

We got our computer in 1998 and in the spring of 1999 is when I met you girls.   I think Joe and Susie had one before we did, I'm sure of that really.
Emmitt's play is James and the Giant Peach and Emmit is James.

Whatever the reason, I wished ((((((((((Susie)))))))))) didn't have MS.

Did you not go for an overnight visit last year to see Emmitt in a play? Do we have a budding Star amongst us?

We had a computer back in '92/'93 but no internet then of course, it was used for work. Then we lost the business and they took that computer and Kylie bought one in '97/'98 for her nursing studies and we had internet then. I found the meno board in '98.

They are lovely photos and I so enjoyed looking at them, you never seem to age Linda I think the blonde boy's name is Madden I have no idea of the story, but I just did a quick search and see it's a Roald Dahl story.

That's what I said "It's no wonder Emmitt got the part, he looks like a James" and I don't even know the story.  He even managed a little accent which was amazing. It does seem like Emmitt is a budding star but there are so many budding stars everywhere or so it seems.
At least in our family he is a star.  Thanks for saying I don't change, you girls are always so nice!!
Yes, the other young blonde boy is Madden who is a bit taller than Emmitt and he's only 12.  He's going to be BIG.
I only remember the date when we got the computer because Mom died in August of 1998 and this room was her room and after that we got the computer which only Tim used.  After we had it a few months he insisted he was going to show me how to do email and that's how it started.  Then I found the meno board and I KNOW you both were already there.

YES Madden and Yes I woke up in the early hours for the loo and Yes I got back into bed and NO I could not sleep so I went though the alphabet trying to remember the name and YES I did remember it was Madden about 5AM.. ish !!!!!! He has grown so big and he is so Blonde !!!!!

I could not believe how Emmitt looked the part of James ! So good and does he do the speaking parts well ?  You can tell him that your friends on the other side of the world thought he looked GOOD !

Thinking back it may have been as late as 1998 or early 1999 when we all got together but I cannot recall. All I Know is I got a computer in 1996 could not work it and the kids got fed up trying to teach me so I took lessons in the local Dunedin Polytech. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I just got on with it but I did do John's Law degree typing stuff for him ! NOT that I AM a typist to this day !

Emmitt did all of it well, singing, speaking and even dancing.  I didn't know he would be a dancer too.  Well, it was nothing fancy, but it looked great and went with the show.  I'll tell him what you said when I see him.  He's such a pretty boy really.  Madden is big, stocky and not pretty.  He plays football and is ALL BOY.  Whenever he leaves to go home or we leave Madden always goes around and hugs everyone, well Breck and Emmitt do too.  Madden gives the biggest and best hugs.
Well, we do know we have been together for more than 20 years and when you and Darien found the board, I don't know.  I do know that I found it about March or April of 1999 and I do know you and Darien were both here.
