I see you are allowed to MOVE, that's really good since that's what you will be doing!  Lots of rules and regulations there I see!
Waterloo has a city bus line but I haven't used it in YEARS.  The first year we were married we only had one car and Larry went to work early so he couldn't take me, so I took the city bus.  Larry  picked me up after work but I did take the bus to work.  It was way too far for me to walk even though I was young then.  That would have been a very long walk during a blizzard in the winter.
I'm fine doing my feet the way I do it so I won't change but you do whatever works for you Moira!!
