I Lay in bed thinking up posts to write on here  .... How I sleep with some Hot Stuff !!!!!!!!! I laughed out loud  ... not that John heard me !!     I suspect I will sleep tonight  ... even if I do have to go into the other bedroom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh also how can one cope with so many pairs of glasses lying about ? John now has 3 new pairs ( Spec Savers )  plus a pair of sunnies...... plus his old tatty reading glasses. I have 2 pairs plus a pair of $5 pharmacy enlarge sight specs.  I Keep picking up the wrong glasses !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND he is still deaf and does not hear me so I have to speak loud !
Sigh.  HELP !

We probably COULD have lived without hearing about the WIND in New Zealand last night!    I know Moira likes to give us the scoop!!!
You were laughing in bed about the thought of telling us you sleep with some Hot Stuff?  ARE you telling us that?  DID YOU???   Did you have your hot water bottle in bed?    I have reading glasses all around the house.  I buy them at the Dollar Tree where everything is a dollar.  It's handy to have lots of glasses and they are fine and cheap too.  Larry just has the glasses he wears all the time so any other glasses I know are mine.

Haha I sleep with some hot stuff because he always gets hot and chucks off the duvet !!! I make up posts to you in my mind  when I cannot sleep.  ::)
I too have those cheap reading glasses, about 6 pairs but they are mostly in the drawer or in the car and some of them are such pretty colours I would quite like them with my reading lenses in them !!
No Darien I did not really sleep better last night either as I had indigestion .... John slept all night and snores fairly quietly.
As for having to raise my voice when talking to John, it has got boring already. I don't think he even listens then gets the wrong story anyway ! He had his ears tested and he was borderline but OK for the time being ! I have my doubts !

The only glasses I have are the ones I get from supersavers and when they are not in use they are in their proper containers in their allotted places
What gave you indigestion, Moira? Perhaps you should have that checked out? Have you had your appointment to have your skin checked yet?
Linda and I were thinking you were going to tell us about John being your bit of 'Hot Stuff'

Right Darien, we thought we were going to get a really GOOD Hot Stuff story, what a disappointment!    Sorry you had indigestion so bad that you couldn't sleep.  Was it better when you got up?  Can't you take something to make it go away??  ((((((((((Moira)))))))))   I don't think we have a hugging emoticon so we will have to go back to making our own hugs.   I could have guessed that Darien's glasses would all be put away where they belong.  Mine are out in the open but very neatly placed just where I need them!

I agree Linda, Darien would have her glasses put away all neat and tidy ! But no Hot stuff story.... just a hot body snoring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the GP today and she has given me some Pantoprazole.
It is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. This medication relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. It helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers.
I have been on them or similar, a few years ago but came off when I had my thyroid done.  When I get indigestion like that nowadays,  I always thing HEART !!!  Trinh, the GP told me to ring the ambulance if I was worried !

((((((((((Moira)))))))))) Yes, you can think of your heart when you get bad indigestion pain, I hear you about that. Did you get your skin checked> I take it you didn't or you would have mentioned it.

Larry gets indigestion like that and we have taken him to the ER about 3 times to be checked out because we thought it was his heart and it wasn't.  He has a pill now that he takes, not all the time, but when he feels like he needs it.  It sounds very much like yours.  I hope this will help you.

It is a bit of a worry but most of the time I tell myself it is indigestion but but but ........  I Am sure you understand Darien and Larry too !  What pill does Larry take Linda ?
There is a specialist skin cancer place in Silverdale apparently,  I have noticed it ..... or you just have your GP check ... useless in my opinion.  Yes I forgot to ask Trinh, not that she would have had time to do it yesterday anyway !  I used to see a specialist skin cancer doctor in Perth.  I will look into it.

I was talking to a woman at the over 60s this morning,  she had a son and grandkids in UK . I thought she looked about my age but she was 83 !!!!!! She was telling me how she lost one son aged 37.  He had a melanoma on his leg, had the melanoma removed and all was well for 4 years then he was getting headaches and it was found that the cancer from the melanoma had gone to his brain, he died within 4 months.  Very sad.

Larry's pill is Famotidine, a store brand so it's cheaper than the name brand.  The name brand is Pepcid.  It works so fast for him, it's almost unbelievable.  Even I understand your fear Moira, from living with a person with heart disease..........I GEDDIT.   Melanoma is a terrible kind of cancer and Joe had the most deadly form of it, nodular.  They got it all out 4 years ago but it could always sneak back.  He has very frequent full body scans.  So sad about the woman who lost her young son from it.

Oh how sad for that poor woman, so quickly too

I do know what you mean, Moira, as sometimes when I get bad indigestion I have to stop myself from panicking and just wait for a bit.

I have heard of Pepcid and I am pretty sure we have an equivalent here, don't know about in NZ, but they no doubt do. Don't forget to ask when you go to the hospital on Monday!!!!
