So sad about Liam, the changes you see in him have to be heartbreaking.  Maybe Chloe will decide he's not for her and be on her way.

WHat a shame that Liam has changed somewhat ... didn't he used to be a lovely young man ?  I think you have also said that about Chloe being too good for Liam before ! SAd really as she is obviously still hanging on there !  IT sounds maybe Liam is like Kylie and Chloe is more like Garry !

Still contemplating the possibility of flying to Perth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD FOR  YOU MOIRA, you can do it and you would love being with Annie.  I do know how you feel about flying, I feel the same but I think you might be even more fearful than I am.
I'm back thinking about Kylie calling Chloe her daughter-in-law and it makes me think she wants that to happen, or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Kylie loves Chloe and would love nothing better than to see her and Liam married. We have known Chloe since her and Liam were in primary school together, so Kylie has some control over her.
Liam was a very thoughtful and loving boy and would often call me and pop in to see us, but since all this going on with Kylie, I don't hear from him at all. His loss really and I am sure he will regret it later in life.

Yes, it is Liam's loss and how sad!!!  I am sure Kylie has said things that have influenced him in the WRONG DIRECTION and that is so very sad too!!

I agree Linda and yes Liam will regret BUT methinks maybe if he was to leave home and live his own life then he will change and see life as it really is out in the world !  With or without Chloe :) He needs to SEE life as it really is now ! Is he still studying ? 

As for me flying ............... I Am not really, really thinking about it .... BUT IF it happens it will happen on the spur of the moment .... and maybe I should get some spare Valium lined up just in case !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess we will just have to wait and see how things go with Liam and Chloe, only time will tell.
I guess if you would go to Perth for Christmas you would  no doubt stay for awhile, not just a short stay???

It certainly won't hurt to have some Valium ready in case you do decide to go to WA. I think Christine is coming out to SA to see Kate this Christmas, it would be nice if you two could meet up somewhere. Mind you, it's expensive to fly nationally these days, especially Business class!!!!

I see Kate is now in Perth and I did give her Annie' s phone number as she was looking around to see what it might be like to live there !   IF I do go to Perth it will be at least for 3/4 weeks .....  might as well make it worth the flight !  The trip from Perth to Sydney to visit you with Ange was a special flight ..... and I did have a nurse with me :)   I will need a packet of valium !!!!!!!!!!! My flying Business class that one time was a special ..... because I was flying alone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus we had just sold the house in Perth and had plenty of money !!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you wouldn't fly Business Class from NZ to Perth? I couldn't fly any other way now, our flights to Malaysia are Business Class as well as our flights to the UK, which we booked yesterday. Wouldn't John go with you to Perth??

I thought you might stay for a month if you do decide to go but what would Dan and Bonnie and the kids do without you??   I'm sure John would go, I don't think Moira would fly alone, would you???

NO I would definitely NOT Fly alone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will wait till Dan is home and see how the land lies.  John is actualleh not too keen on going !  He says he will IF I really want to go but I Am not too sure at all. I always said I was not going to fly again after the last time ........ !  Getting too old for the stress !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Good excuse what ?????     :o

I wonder why John doesn't want to go?  For sure it's easier to stay home and the older you get the more you will realize that.  It is a way to see Annie though.  I thought that were going to move to New Zealand.  What has happened with that plan?
